"All citizens shall have the right to: (a) freedom of speech and expression; (b) assemble peaceably without arms; (c) form associations or unions or co-operative societies; (d) move freely throughout the territory of India; (e) reside and settle in any part of India; (g) practise any profession, or to carry on any occupation, trade or business."

संवैधानिक पाठ (हिंदी)

"सभी नागरिकों को निम्नलिखित अधिकार होंगे: (क) वाक् एवं अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता; (ख) शांतिपूर्वक और बिना हथियारों के सम्मेलन; (ग) संघ या संगम या सहकारी समितियां बनाना; (घ) भारत के राज्यक्षेत्र में स्वतंत्र रूप से भ्रमण; (ड़) भारत के किसी भी भाग में निवास और बसना; (छ) कोई भी वृत्ति, उपजीविका, व्यापार या कारोबार करना।"

You have the right to speak your mind, write, protest, form groups, travel anywhere in India, and choose your career — subject only to reasonable restrictions.

आपको अपनी बात कहने, लिखने, विरोध करने, समूह बनाने, भारत में कहीं भी यात्रा करने और अपना करियर चुनने का अधिकार है — केवल उचित प्रतिबंधों के अधीन।

Situation

You write a critical article about a government policy. The government cannot shut down your blog for it — Article 19(1)(a) protects freedom of speech and expression.
