Official Constitutional Text

"The right to move the Supreme Court by appropriate proceedings for the enforcement of the rights conferred by this Part is guaranteed. The Supreme Court shall have power to issue directions or orders or writs, including writs in the nature of habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, quo warranto and certiorari, whichever may be appropriate."

💡

What it means — Simply

If any of your fundamental rights are violated, you can go directly to the Supreme Court. The Court can issue powerful writs — Habeas Corpus (produce the body), Mandamus (do your duty), Certiorari (quash the order), Prohibition (don't act beyond jurisdiction), Quo Warranto (by what authority?).
